Seasoning Options #1

It can be difficult to find seasonings as a vegan. You look and look but the additives are overwhelming. It’s especially difficult as a whole-foods based, non-gmo vegan. First the dextrose, then the sodium, then the perservatives. Good grief! I’m finding that it’s better to spend the extra money on the ‘healthy’ seasonings, or DIMS (do it myself). So, below you will find my first attempt at crafting an organic seasonings packet. After looking at various ‘healthy’ products, this is what I came up with.

Meat Alternatives Seasoning

5 tsp of Parsley

2 tsp of Black Pepper

5 tsp of Turmeric

3 tsp of Salt

4 tsp of Onion Powder

5 tsp of Garlic Powder

3 tsp of Celery Powder

You’ll need to go to the local natural grocery near your house, buy the organic version of these, and then mix them together. Taste it after mixing. It should flavorful. If not, add more of what smells good. Your nose knows what it’s missing.

Enjoy!

Note: I’m working on the measurements to see if I can make this in bulk. I will let you now once I figure it out.
